Solitons, vacua, and a modified probe limit

In this talk, I will describe a regime in which we can use holography to study SUSY defect-field theories generated by brane intersections. Models of this type lie at the core of many holographic QCD (and CMT) models. The regime is especially useful for identifying BPS solitons, the supersymmetric cousins of holographic baryons, as well as an intricate moduli space of zero-energy vacua.
